For both sender and recipient, McAfee SaaS Email Encryption addon option for the McAfee Email Protection service, provides instant, easy encryption for everyone - with no software to install for either the sender or recipient
Email Encryption is an optional addition to both the Email Protection and Continuity service, and the combined Web & Email Protection Suite.
The Sender
As a sender, simply compose your email and send it. The content (including over 300 attachment types) is automatically scanned and encrypted if it matches the policy set by your administrator. You can also tag your email to be encrypted by simply adding “[encrypt]” to the subject line or within the message body.
The Recipient
As a recipient, you can retrieve the message from the McAfee web-based message pick-up portal from ANY device with a web browser. Optionally, as a frequent recipient, you can choose to download a secure message reader to your PC, which allows you to view the message directly through your email client. When you reply, the message will also be encrypted, providing you with bi-directional protection.
The Administrator
As an IT administrator, you use the unified, web-based McAfee SaaS Control Console to set, review, and customise privacy policies (policy-driven encryption), so confidential content is automatically encrypted.
You can also customise and enforce multiple policies for respective user groups, branch offices, and lines of business.
