PineApp Archive-SeCure allows organisations from 25-100,000 users to immediately take control of their email archive, and store emails for long periods of time without losing the ability to easily search and retrieve messages. Archiving securely allows a substantial reduction of on-line storage & backup burden, system resource consumption for internal mail servers such as Exchange, Notes or Groupwise.

Archive-SeCure is a truly flexible, plug-and-play solution for all existing email servers.  It also integrates directly with PineApp Mail-SeCure.

Archive-SeCure is available with internal storage, or with interfaces to all common storage architectures such as iSCSI and Fibre Channel connected SAN or NAS, providing limitless scalability, and ensuring full Regulation Compliance, Storage Management and e-discovery capabilities.

• Plug and play installation typically taking 30 minutes, with seamless integration into existing any existing email system.  Plug it in, tell it about your mail server - for example Exchange - and emails are automatically archived securely.

• Works with virtually all mail servers: Exchange (all versions) POP3, IMAP, Groupwise (1 of only 2 in the world support Groupwise 7) - also Notes / Domino, SENDmail, Qmail, Postfix, Exigent mail server, IpSwitch I-mail and all other SMTP mail servers.

• Find that email!  Lightening fast search engine (Web based or Outlook plugin) that is able to deal with huge amounts of data in email bodies and attachments.

• Up to 90% saving on on-line storage costs with "Single Instance Storage" attachment storage, only one copy of an attachment is saved across thousands of emails.

• "Stubbing" feature removes large emails from on-line storage, replacing them with a small email / subject / index entry only.  Should you need the email, it is restored to your mailbox from the archive automatically.

Why Storage Management of Email ?

Organisations of all sizes are facing problems with the life-cycle management, storage and retrieval of an ever growing volume of email.

The Problem

1) Exponential Email Volume Increase: The average number of daily emails per user is growing dramatically, as well as the average size of each email. Messages also contain more rich text, logos, high resolution images, video, voice mail, and bigger and bigger attachments.

2) Backup Times are Increasing: More messages means more storage to back up (and longer to restore!) and the time available for backups is shrinking.  So do you set mailbox quotas and become unpopular with users?
